I'm back with a New Video Blog announcement ... I'll be posting again VERY soon with some exciting news that will interest anyone who DJs or Produces Music and wants to find out more about How to take your music from an Idea to a Full Production track that gets played in a club. It will be called 'From iMaschine to The Club' and i'll be posting weekly videos to show you How i make a new track and develop it into a proper Club Track that I will play at a London Club. Whilst I've not been blogging, I've been writing more music & recording some new DJ mixes - so here are the tracks on SoundCloud I've remixed a great track for Singer Liss Jones who was a contestant on BBC The Voice in 2014. Liss has a great catchy vocal sound which has touches of Christina Aguilera & Britney. The remix will be released 12th October 2016. The song is about how you feel when you're falling in love with someone, It describes noticing the effects of intense emotions & feelings. Intensity is more of a house/club sound, with a deep, funky (almost tribal) groove, a thumping kick drum, uplifting synths and dreamy vocals from Natasha who sang on Limitless Love.

Over the summer, I teamed up with Lithuanian singer songwriter Austeya
who has some fantastic original material on Soundcloud.com/Austeya . We found ourselves pondering the subject of online dating
and what a girl feels and thinks when she is looking for Mr. Right ..... or Mr.
Wrong if that’s her desire ;-)
We quickly arrived at "Shopping for Love" as the song’s title
and from there the lyrics flowed very quickly in the style of what she is
thinking.We tried to avoid writing
purely happy or positive lyrics so that we could reflect the mixture of
emotions and feelings she might feel, such as hope, desire, doubt, lust and
apprehensiveness.
We'd love some online reviews if you can, we’d really appreciate your
comments.

We have a Deep Disco remix of "Shopping for Love" - it's in a NuDisco style, so I'm using lots of great 80s drum sounds as well as real electric guitar courtesy of guitarist Orlando Formaro. Also in the production stage is 'Intensity' featuring Natasha C who sang on Limitless Love. This one is also a DJ friendly format, deep grooves, plinky uplifting synths and a sweet soothing vocal from Natasha.

Since our first release 'Limitless Love' in January 2015, Rezonairs have been busy filming a Live Performance Video - and here's the result!
The video took 1 day to film, it was shot in London at Frank's flat and what we wanted to achieve with it was a natural, simple performance, no really fancy distractions that detract from the music itself, just the band playing live and giving you a glimpse of our live abilities.
For those of you out there that are interested to know how we achieved this 'Studio quality' sound recording, this is how we produced it.
Firstly, we practiced the track so we could achieve a good quality performance. Next, Frank took the studio track and muted out the Lead Vocals and Synths. In the room, we set up the Synth and Mic, running into a mixing desk, and behind the camera we had a laptop to play the back-track.
With a live mic in the room capturing audio, we had to turn the speakers off, and channel the backing track + vocals & Synths to headphones, so you'll notice the black wire between Natasha & Frank. We had the full mix in our headphones, but the only sound in the room was Natasha's vocals!
Levels, levels, levels - are SO important. We did several test recordings, because you can only really hear the end result when you listen back on headphones. We adjusted the levels, added a bit of reverb to Natasha's mic, compression on the vocals as well as the Synth. I used a Yamaha MG12FX mixer which has built-in compressors on 4 channels (v handy).
We added around 8 bars of intro, so that Frank could get into position before the Actual Start of the track.
We filmed around 12 takes of the video, and the sound you hear is from ONE TAKE alone, but the video shots are from different takes.

REZONAIRS are a British Electronic Band hailing from the Home Counties, writing and producing original material to be performed live at clubs and festivals.
The Band's first release in Feb 2015 is titled "LIMITLESS EP" and features two tracks based around the title concept. "Limitless Love" has a deep-house/lounge style and explores the subject of endless love. "Limitless Nights" takes the theme in a stronger dance-production sound, focusing on the hedonists hopes that a night out can bring.
